Vincent E. Westerman President and CEO
Vincent E. (Vince) Westerman, President and CEO of The Westerman Group LLC, began his financial services career in 1987 with a large national insurance company. After obtaining the knowledge base necessary to start his own practice, he founded The Westerman Group (TWG) in 1989.For over twenty years Vince has been helping his clients plan their financial goals. He serves business owners and high net worth individuals as their trusted investment and wealth manager. As a trusted advisor, Vince is considered an esteemed colleague and friend. With a focus on service, Vince works hand-in-hand with his clients and their other trusted advisors to ensure that every available financial strategy and opportunity is investigated and assessed.Vince holds National Association of Securities Dealers Series 6, 63 registrations, life, health and variable annuity licenses. David G. Millet, Esq. Vice President
David G. Millet, a financial advisor and investment advisor representative, has been helping his clients attain their preferred financial future since 1998. Joyce Diehl Director of Client Services
Joyce has over 35 years in the financial services industry and has worked 29 of those years in private banking in the trust and investment area. She is a graduate of the Midwest Trust School. Joyce is a consummate professional in the areas of client service and is practiced with the policies and procedures involved in processing accounts and customer requests. She understands and appreciates the importance of confidentiality and client relationships. Joyce and her husband, Charles, reside in Northfield Center and are the proud grandparents of two grandsons. Michael Cymbal
Director of Financial Planning/ Investment Advisor Rep
Michael M. Cymbal, CPA, CFP, (Director of Financial Planning/ Investment Advisor Representative), began his career with a public accounting firm, Ernst & Young, where he provided tax consulting services for corporate executives and other high-net-worth individuals. Michael went on to hold a variety of financial planning positions with regional banks and asset management firms. He has over 20 years of financial planning experience, in addition to four years of public accounting experience.Michael brings extensive experience in personal financial planning for executives, business owners and other affluent individuals to The Westerman Group. His experience has been dedicated to designing and implementing financial planning strategies for affluent clients in such areas as charitable planning, stock options wealth transfer, and business succession planning. Michael’s responsibilities include financial planning services for affluent individuals and their families.Michael holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Finance from Miami University and has studied corporate and estate tax at the University of Akron’s Masters in Taxation program. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner.Michael is member of the Divine Word Parish Finance Committee and is active in community and parish activities. Tara Fredricks
Administrative Assistant
Tara assists with the maintenance of the switchboard, and the front office document system. As a part-time employee, Tara is familiar with proper client service procedures and etiquette. She is proficient in application processing and follow-up, underwriting follow-up and transfer tracking. Kelly Millet
Director of Communication
After obtaining a public relations degree in 1995 from Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Kelly began her career as an intern with Hill & Knowlton Public Relations in Los Angeles and later accepted an assistant account executive position at another renowned public relations firm, Rogers & Cowan. Working in the television division of the high profile agency, Kelly learned invaluable skills such as the proper etiquette in escorting a celebrity down the red carpet for media interviews, and planning premiere and product launch parties. Her responsibilities included coordinating clip reports, and writing episode synopsis and press releases for many clients, including “The X-Files” television series.Kelly also helped support numerous feature film, album release, corporate and celebrity announcements with press releases and other press kit content while a staff writer at New Line Cinema in Los Angeles.Once in Cleveland, Kelly continued her public relations and branding experience at Stern Advertising where she served as account executive on the Ameritech, Cleveland Home & Garden and Sportsman show accounts. She also worked as the Public Relations and Marketing Manager for the 21st and 23rd annual Cleveland International Film Festivals.Once joining Wyse Advertising in 2000, Kelly’s background in working with top firms in the country on highly accredited brands enabled her to move forward in the implementation of several ground-breaking on and offline campaigns for PolyOne, Grainger.com, Rockwell Automation and Lone Star Steakhouse and Saloon. She assisted in the development of on and offline campaigns for Wyse, and served as a member of the Wyse Public Relations Council.Succumbing to the pull of motherhood, Kelly began working part-time in 2002. During this time she has continued to work with high profile brands and taken on the title of Media Planner with Adcom Communications and Project Manager with Bennett Adelson Consulting, LLC.Currently, Kelly serves as the Director of Marketing and Events with Gross Schechter Day School in Pepper Pike, Ohio, and is the Director of Communication with The Westerman Group, LLC.Kelly, her husband, David, and children Jacob and Talia reside in Solon.
